Year 2010 was indeed a year full of abundant blessings for me. To name some of the major or greatest gifts I have received, please move on. It was early last year when I got my job which keeps my bank account revolving, of course. The first few shifts was one of the toughest days of my life that I learned to survive through HIS guidance. Little by little I was able to overcome the so called “adjustment period”. All the while I thought life will just keep getting better, not until one of the biggest challenge comes along our way. Yes, I have my career going but then my family was starting to fall apart. I thought I would give up but prayers can really move mountains. Inch by inch, harmony finds its way into our home. I don’t know if it is because of the impact that long awaited gift has brought into our family or its just because of the natural cause from my parents love for each other(I know there’s still some that is so powerful to bind them again.*wink*). And lastly, as what I always say to my friends and my family, I am so blessed to have my answered prayer.

A package deal sent from HEAVEN to be with me. Yes indeed, it was only a few months ago but the love in our hearts just keep on burning more and more. I wake up every morning realizing that I fall in love with him over and over. I know for sure that it is possible because our relationship rooted from something deeper, something unusual and something planned by destiny. It came in an unexpected time, place and situation. Something that I could not imagine I would go through and will survive. My God’s Greatest Gift, Christopher AKA “Topher/Kris/Topexpress” who inspires me to treasure my family more than anyone else, who taught me how to be a better person not just for me but for the benefit of other people as well. He made me do things that I did not know I could, he opens a lot of doors for me to appreciate myself worth a lot more.

I would say that with all those gifts, I could not ask for more in 2010. In return, I would want to offer my arms to those who are in need, my touch to those who are in pain, my smile to those who are suffering, my ears to those who needs a listener, my mind and my heart to those who needs understanding and my generous self to those who I love the most. I will never get tired of loving because I have faith that I am receiving more than what I have asked for and that I will continue to receive those from the people I love the most. As one of my favorite lines from a movie I recently seen, “I only ask for a bread and yet you gave me burger with fries in a combo meal.” What more could I ask for?!

Let me say this quick – I cannot ask for more for i got the best and i must say… Taragis! daig ko pa nanalo sa lotto – JACKPOT ako! yehhhbaahh! ^_^

Some of you might not know our story (masyado kami kasi private!) lels! I supposed to post this entry before kaso sa sobrang busy nga(busy-busihan mode lagi) en besides, hindi ako nagsulat nito. Kaya di ko na kau bibitinin pa, have fun in reading. Ito ay entry ng aking butihing may bahay. naks! sarap naman!!!! ayieeeeee

This is how our STORY goes:

Four years ago, I planned my wedding with someone I thought I could love and spend the rest of my life with. Truthfully, God is so good for not letting me pursue with that plan. HE made life easier but things gets harder at the same time (magulo pero un talaga un! walang basagan ng trip!page ko toh!). In short, I broke up with that unworthy guy ( as I termed it according to my dictionary! wag ulit basag trip! ndi niya toh mababasa kasi ndi kami friends!). After him, I tried to open up my heart again, explored love and all the mystery that compromises with it. Luckily, I have found someone(“doki”), but not so lucky of having me because I’m not ready to give my whole heart to him yet. It seems like I’m still trying to mend my broken heart and soul. I have lost myself in love and tried putting it all back (hirap pala ng ganun!futek!).

As time passes by, I realized that loving with unfixed heart is much more difficult as compared to being alone. Knowing that someone is being “fooled”, making him believe that you love him as much as he does made me feel the guilt and its killing me. When I got the chance, I broke up with him believing that I don’t really love him that much. A month passed, its like nothing. Two months, still the same. But when I heard that he’s having a GF (amfuts!hindi man lang kasi humabol!kabud na lang nag let go!aruy!hmpf!). That’s the time I said to myself, OK I’m done. I will wait until my heart is whole again and then the next time I will be in a relationship I assure myself, that  person will be the one with whom I’m gonna spend the rest of my life. November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, finally, there he was.

During the first couple of month things are all well. I know he’s busy with a lot of things, but I understand that. All of a sudden, he came to me telling me that he’s not ready yet for any commitment. My heart was crushed once again!(Amfuts!halos kasing sakit nung unang break up namin ni unworthy guy na jowaerts ko ng almost five years!). No choice but to move on! Maybe that’s one thing I should be thankful for, they all taught me how to be strong and how to let go of the things which are not meant for me. Another way to say this is that, there is something or somebody who is much worth of my love, so why waste every single beat of my heart with jerks!(tumah?!bitterness!?jokesness!). I found a rebound after him(boss) who also helped me to move on, but yeah, rebounds are not healthy to anybody. Life during those times was in chaos(ang dami din kasing achuchuchu!). During those days, I felt like I am the weakest person. I gave up on that challenge right on the spot. (kavoom!lost ang beauty ng echuserang “frog prince”!). All the while, I thought I was still in love with “the boss”(cologne eto, HUGO BOSS), so I decided to try getting back to him when he started to communicate with me again. We went out together. Going back to the getting to know each other stage, exchanging text messages(ate high scholl ka ulit?!). He’s trying to set some ideas regarding proposal and weddings and talking about marriage and settling down (which I never heard from him before, ano nakain mo?!). As we went on, it made me realize that I could not see myself with this person at all. He’s not the one I wanted to share my everything with(nagdamot ang lola nio!).

Until one time, God sent me somebody whom I believe HE wanted me to grow old with. He does a lot of things that I also enjoys doing. He makes me laugh at his silliest jokes. I just loved being myself when I speak with him, whether its over the phone, chat boxes or even text messages. He opened up the world of love from fairy tales which felt like real (ay shrek d movie yata itow!). He really is my answered prayer. And I meant that, because he has everything that I have prayed for. The simplest things in the world that makes me really happy, the simplest uttered words that keeps my hEARt melting and fall in love with him all over again. Yes, we’re not together for long but who cares!I have faith that God has sent him to me to be my ….(uhm, wag na lang muna baka mausog pa!), the person I would always be comfortable being  me but won’t spoiled me, the person who will teach me new things but at the same time learn with me, that somebody who will grow with me in this relationship. The person who will be the first one to cry when I’m in pain but will truly do his best to comfort me and give me strength. Somebody who worries so much not hearing from me at all (oh diba ang sweeeeet!). A person NOT PERFECT but I know is REAL, a person who commits mistakes but not a coward to accept all its consequences. Things happen for a reason, and behind all this HE has a purpose. I have faith that HE wanted me to settle down with this IMPERFECT PERSON who LOVES ME PERFECTLY, so I rest my case and will let HIM be my WEDDING PLANNER. Thank YOU for sending me YOUR GREATEST GIFT in advance. (bongga ka LORD! major major! and I SUPER LURV ET!).

Sa araw araw maaring lagi natin iniisip na “paano nga ba natin mapapabuti ang ating mga sarili o pamumuhay?” o dili kaya, “Hay, sana swerte ang araw na ito!”. Minsan kahit gaano natin gustuhin na maging maganda o maayos ang araw natin di maiiwasan na madapuan tyo ng pagsubok o problema. Natural lamang na sa tuwing may mga pagsubok tyo, madalas ang panghihina ng ating loob marahil dahil na din sa tayo ay tao lamang at ang kahinaan ay parte ng pagiging nilalang.

If we want our life to get better, we need to help improve somebody else’s life. All of us affect, in one way or another, the people we meet. I always believe that we live with a purpose, in which hindi natin masyado napapagtuunan ng pansin dahil marahil na din sa mga pansarili nating intension. If we blast ourselves from the past, most likely we have somebody who played as a vital role in helping us to do well and strive hard to be in where we are today. I guess it is rightfully to do something similar for somebody else. An assignment we should always do.

Kabi-kabila ang mga kaganapan na nakakalungkot, at nakakatakot. But this is not the time for us to be doomed to failure, to be in our greatest fear or destruction. Time to make a difference; we have something to offer… something that somebody needs –”encouragement“. Hindi tayo nabubuhay para sa sarili lamang, as we live with a purpose in life, and that we have to let somebody know that we believe.

Sabi nga sa kanta:

“ Walang sino man ang nabubuhay para sa sarili lamang…   tayong lahat ay may pananagutan sa isa’t – isa…”

I am not hopeless that soon enough, the world would be at its peace and that everyone would have a better place; All we need to do is to BELIEVE.

Maaring dahil na din ito sa nararamdaman natin o pinagdadaanan at dahilan ng ating paghinto o pagtanggap ng pagkatalo, o pagkakadapa. We sometimes lose the courage to stand up and fight again. We always find reasons to surrender and reasons for our DEFEATS.

Pagnasaktan: “siguro di para sa akin toh”

Pagnabigo: “hindi lang tlga kami laan para sa isat isa” o “maybe this is really not my destiny”

Pagnatorpe: “Ang ganda nia, langit sia at lupa ako. Hindi ako gwapo/maganda para magustuhan nia”

Pag nagpadala sa galit: “kung ayaw nia eh di wag, di ako gago para pilitin pa”

Siguro nga normal ito pag nakakaranas tayo ng panghihina ng loob o rejection at disappointments in life. Minsan sa pagtulong hindi naman tlga dapat naghihintay ng kapalit, parang sa pagmamahal. Try not to have high expectations of people because it just sets you up for disappointment.

Ang ating buhay as i always say, its a long way JOURNEY. And through our explorations in life, we LEARN lessons . Hindi lahat na prepredict, nafefeng shui, o nahuhulaan. We LIVE and normally tend to make mistakes and get HURT. Its part of the learning process. Ang buhay natin madaming sangang daan, nakakalito, nakakahilo. Darating sa punto natin na pipili tayo ng daan na ating tatahakin; at tulad ng paglalakabay, hindi lahat ng daan patag o sementado. May mga daaan na malubak, maputik at hindi sementado, minsan pa dead end. When we find our path, we must not be afraid. We need to have sufficient COURAGE to make mistakes.

Sometimes “the end” doesnt mean end, sometimes its another way of GOD giving us reasons to FIGHT and FIND another or different route and keeping ourselves giving our maximum potential to STRIVE and be back in the game so called life. Disappointment, Defeat, and Despair are the tools God uses to show us the way. Hindi naman tlga dapat sumuko.

Hindi kailangan huminto sa mga pangarap, hindi kailangang isuko ang lahat lahat, hindi sapat ang nagawa mo na. Get back up and go again. Hindi masamang sumubok muli, ang lumaban para sa paniniwala at paghahangad ng mga bagay na pinangarap natin o mga bagay na sa panaginip natin lagi nakikita. We shouldnt give up too easily on our dreams and hopes in life.

Minsan sa di sinasadaya o inaasahang pagkakataon, may mga tao tayong makikilala na di natin aakalain na mapapalapit sa atin, magkakahulihan ng loob, magiging kaibigan. At mula ditto, uusbong ang samahang ni sa panaginip mo ang hirap iwasan, ang hirap iwanan. Yung bang minsan kahit kumakain ka, bigla mo sila maaalala, tetext mo, tatawagan mo, o minsan bigla ka nalang mapapangisi o mapapangiti pag may naalala ka na nakakatuwang bagay habang nakatingin sa kawalan. Mga bagay na pinagsaluhan, mga ala-alang naging inspiration para maging matatag pa kayo sa pagdaan ng panahon. Na kahit na di kayo magkita, magdaan man ang araw, lingo, buwan at taon, sa muli ninyong pagtatagpo parang kahapon lang… mapapawi ng halakhak o simpleng tawanan ang panahon na nagkawalay kayo.

May mga tao na makikilala natin na parang dadaan lang sa buhay mo, pero kahit ganon kahit sa sandaling pagkakaibigan o pagsasama, alam mo sa sarili mo na naging parte na sia ng kung ano at sino ka bago pa sila dumating. Nakadagdag sila ng kulay, at timpla n gating buhay. Madami ako nagiging kaibigan, (kahit karamihan inaakala na suplado ako) Mga nakilala sa mga kakilala, kaibigan ng kaibigan ko, nakasabay bumili ng alak, at kung ano ano pa. Masasabi ko na bawat taong nagdaan at naging aking kaibigan madami na din ako natutunan. Isa na dito, ang maging matatag… lalo sa panahon ng paglisan. Hindi nman lahat permanente, hindi lahat ng gusto natin pwede.

Madalas, lahat tayo ay iiwan ng mga taong nakilala natin, naging kaibigan, naging sandalan… mga taong mahal o minahal na natin. Nagsilbing inspiration at nagpapangiti sa atin sa kabila ng problema, nagpapsaya, nagpapaalala na di tayo nag iisa. Magbibiro at magpapatawa kahit na nagmumuka nang tanga, nagiging conry pero mabentang mabenta. Mga taong ang hirap nang alisin sa nakasanayan at minahal na systema.

Sa buhay, darating ang isang pagkakataon na we have to make decisions or choices. For what I know, choices we think that would make our life better kahit na mahirap o masakit. PAIN is part of LOVING, loving is part of LIVING. Its hard to say goodbye or even say see you soon, kung alam mo na matagal kau muling magkikita, mahabang panahon bago muli kayo magkasama… o minsan, yun na ang huli ninyong pagkikita.

It’s hard, but yet we have to. Maybe it’s just that the season for our relationship with them is over. We may not understand it; we may be disappointed or daunted and tend to forget to stir things up. But soon, in GOD’s TIME we will be enlightened. We will learn to LET GO. It’s part of our life journey, a self discovery. Kapag may taong umalis at iniwan tayo; o relasyon na natapos – kaibigan man, kaklase, kasamahan sa trabaho, mahal sa buhay o naging parte na ng ating buhay – Wag tayong malungkot, wag tayong magmukmok. Even how hard we try to make it last, o let them stay, if it is time… the only thing we could do is ACCEPTANCE.

They have been part of us, they have been part of what we are now, and part of becoming a better person. We should be thankful that once in our journey our paths crossed… shared memories… learned from experiences. We become real to ourselves and get comfortable sa kanila. With them, we feel free; we feel light; we are so genuine. We give the best of ourselves and even forget the problems we have.

Let go and be ready for whatever God’s plan for us through our life. Be the best that we can be. Spend every moment with the people we know. Make precious memories to keep and cherish as we grow old and as time passes by. Live every day as if it your last at least, in that way, we may not have bunch of regrets when our chapter ends.
